1. Information we collect
When you request a quote, we may collect your name, telephone number, email address, postcode, the products you are interested in and information you choose to give us about your project. We may also collect technical and campaign information such as your IP address, browser/device information, referral URL, UTM parameters, gclid and fbclid where these are available.
2. Why we use your information and our lawful bases
- To respond to your quote request and take steps at your request before entering into a contract. This includes contacting you, understanding your requirements, arranging surveys and preparing or discussing a quotation.
- To provide products or services under a contract if you become a customer.
- For legitimate interests where appropriate, including administering enquiries, preventing fraud, keeping appropriate business records, improving our service and defending legal claims, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- To comply with legal obligations, including accounting, regulatory and consumer-protection requirements.
- For optional direct marketing only where we have a lawful basis and the applicable PECR rules permit it. Where consent is required, we will ask for it separately. You can object to direct marketing at any time.
Submitting a quote request does not by itself sign you up to unrelated marketing.
3. How we contact you about your enquiry
If you ask us for a quote, we may contact you using the details you provide to deal with that requested enquiry, for example by telephone, email or text where appropriate. This is service/enquiry communication rather than permission for unrelated future marketing.
4. Who we share information with
We may share personal information only where necessary with service providers acting on our behalf, such as website hosting, CRM, communications, IT, analytics and professional advisers; installers or suppliers involved in fulfilling your request; finance providers where you specifically ask us to explore finance; and regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where the law requires it. We require service providers handling personal data for us to protect it appropriately.
5. Finance enquiries
If you ask about finance, additional information may be required and your information may be shared with the relevant authorised finance intermediary or lender so that your request can be considered. You will be given any additional privacy information required for that finance application before it is processed. Finance is subject to status and affordability.
6. Cookies, pixels and advertising technology
This landing page may use cookies, Meta Pixel, Google advertising/analytics tags or similar technologies for measurement and advertising. Non-essential cookies or similar storage/access technologies should not be activated until the appropriate consent has been obtained through the site's cookie controls. You can withdraw or change your cookie choices at any time through those controls.
7. International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we will use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards as required by UK data protection law.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including dealing with your enquiry, meeting legal and accounting requirements, resolving disputes and establishing or defending legal claims. We periodically review retention periods and securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.
9. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to be informed, access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing, receive certain data in a portable format, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You also have an absolute right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing.
To exercise a right, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Complaints
Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection.
11. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, disclosure or access. No internet transmission is completely secure, so information sent online is provided at your own risk.
12. Children
Our products and quote service are intended for adults and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through this landing page.
13. Changes to this notice
We may update this privacy notice when our processing, suppliers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
